„Feliz cumpleaños!” – DaliBerlin wishes „Happy Birthday!“ and celebrates with an extraordinary program and guided tours with a special prize for everyone due to the 114th birthday of Salvador Dalí.

Berlin, May 7th 2018. Due to the 114th birthday of the great surrealist on May 11, 2018, "Dalí – Die Ausstellung am Potsdamer Platz" once again offers many surprises and presents for all visitors and all ages:

"Art goes under your skin" is available from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. with Dalí-inspired tattoos. „Travelink Artists“, the renowned artists of the international tattoo scene, will tattoo them live in the museum. Due to the lively response in the last year, we offer the opportunity to apply via tattoo@daliberlin.de in advance this year. Dalí fans, who already wear a Dalí tattoo on their skin, receive free admission to the museum when presenting their work of art.

We also provide a very special show act by "LEVEL UP", the current German Champion in breakdancing and promising young talents from the "Flying Steps Academy". At 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. the dancers will surprise all museum guests with an action packed dance performance as a homage to Salvador Dalí, who, as a multifaceted exceptional artist, also designed costumes and stage sets for ballet and opera. Ten years ago, the "Flying Steps" founded the "Flying Steps Academy" in Berlin. It is not only the largest, urban dance school in Germany, but is also considered the first urban dance promotion center since. From mid-May on, they will perform their big show "Flying Illusion" at the “Theater am Potsdamer Platz” within close proximity to the museum.
